
ROBIN TURNER (she/her)
School Mental Health Counselor
Ms. Robin is a Las Vegas native with over 15 years experience working as a Mental Health Professional. Her past work experience has been working with the Department of Family Services, and Juvenile Justice Services. She has experience facilitating parenting workshops, providing individual counseling sessions and group counseling sessions. Her first year working with an elementary school in CCSD providing individual and group counseling sessions for youth and families was in the 2021-2022 school year.
She also carries a Bachelors in Business Administration, and a Master in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy. She is currently a Licensed Marriage and Family State Intern (LMFT-Intern), and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC).
Ms. Robin always had a heart for supporting youth and ensuring they have the social, and emotional skills to work through life's challenges, her mission is to teach them to use their voice to communicate their thoughts, feelings, and emotions to enhance their self-esteem and prepare them for their future. She hopes to see our students confident in who they are, motivated about who they are becoming, and encouraged that they can really be and do anything they set their minds to be and do!
Outside of school she loves dancing, and hanging with friends. She also provides healing and support coaching with youth and adults who have experienced childhood trauma, and volunteers with organizations that provide mentoring services to youth in the community.

LAUREN BEATTIE (she/her)
Part-Time Sped Instructor
Ms. Lauren was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has taken classes in differentiated instruction, how people learn, human behavior, adaptive communication, assessment, and curriculum design. She is a former CCSD teacher and current behavior analyst, alongside working with BBA.
Ms. Lauren loves teaching because she believes that everyone can learn, and seeing it is magical. This year, she would love to help all students access the grade-level curriculum while having fun and eating as much candy as they can.
Outside of school, Ms. Lauren loves hanging out with her children, reading, listening to music, and jogging/being outside.

JILL BRAZIER (she/her)
Emergent Bilingual (ELL) Teacher
Ms. Jill grew up in Seattle, Washington & Portland, Oregon. Prior to teaching, her past work experience was in sales, management, and customer service.
Ms. Jill’s path in education began with presenting her bilingual (Spanish/English) children's books to schools as an author. She enjoyed interacting with the students, and loved the energy of the kids! She started working as a Title 1 bilingual instructional assistant in a dual language school and decided that teaching was a good fit for her.
Since earning her Masters in Teaching with ESOL endorsement, she has worked as a first-grade teacher in both Spanish and English classrooms. Recently, she began teaching ELL (English Language Learner/Emergent Bilingual) and loves working with students across all grades to develop their academic English language skills! She believes that bilingualism and multilingualism are strengths and assets of our students.
Outside of school, Ms. Jill enjoys traveling, being in nature, spending time with her family, friends (and dog!), working out, reading, cooking, music, art, and having new experiences.
Her passion for teaching is rooted in her passion for life! It is a joy to be a part of helping students learn, grow and thrive. She is excited to be a part of the BBA team and is looking forward to a fantastic school year.

Ms. Owens is a Las Vegas native with her Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and 5 years teaching experience SEL & 3 years teaching K-2. She is currently working on her Masters In Special Education.
Ms. Owens is passionate about teaching because she enjoys making a real difference in children’s lives. As a foster parent, she has seen so many children get left behind in school. So many children need love, reassurance and attention and she strives to be someone that helps build them up. She wants her students to know that with hard work they are capable of doing anything.
In her free time she loves going to the dog park, spending time with her friends and family, trying new restaurants, and shopping.
