K-7 Art/SEL/Theatre Teacher - Electives POD Leader
Born in North Texas and now thriving in Las Vegas since 2017, Ms. Kaci brings a wealth of knowledge to BBA. Armed with a Masters in Art Education specializing in social-emotional learning and a bachelor's in K-12 Art Education, she's passionately dedicated to transformative teaching.
With previous experience teaching K-5 and 5-8 art, Ms. Kaci is returning for her second year at BBA. Driven by her own educational challenges, she's committed to reshaping the classroom into a haven for both a-typical and neurodivergent students. Her mission is to nurture SEL skills in a secure environment.
This year, Ms. Kaci aims to foster respect and open-mindedness among peers and students, while also nurturing her students' well-rounded growth and pride in their identities. Beyond the classroom, she indulges in cuddles with her cats, drive-in movie nights, painting, and quality time with her younger half-brother.
She's an advocate for mental health, immerses herself in memoir audiobooks, and consistently strives for personal growth.

Mr. Momen holds a Bachelor's degree in K-12 Music Education from Concordia College, Minnesota. With a passion for joyful music exploration, he believes in heart-centered, global learning. His prior roles include work at the Community Learning Center and Be Your Best Summer Academy in Austin, Minnesota, and Groves Learning Organization in St. Louis Park. Beyond education, he enjoys cooking, traveling, choirs, cultures, and social movements. Coming from Cairo, Egypt, Mr. Momen's goal is to nurture an enduring passion for music in students, forging a meaningful bond that extends beyond the confines of the classroom.

Coach Marino, our PE Teacher, brings a wealth of experience as a former 3rd grade math teacher and football and basketball coach. He's passionate about nurturing student growth and confidence for long-term success. Beyond education, he enjoys fishing as a peaceful escape. Coming from Phoenix, Arizona, he aims to inspire a healthy lifestyle and teamwork skills while fostering an inclusive classroom. Coach Marino's resilience shines through his journey as a 2-time cancer survivor, exemplifying strength and determination.
