ALIY BOSSERT (she/her)
Ms. Aliy is our K/1 Pod Leader - she has a strong background in early childhood education, and enjoys anything Dinosaur/Animal related. She strives to create a classroom that is warm and welcoming for all students, always leaving time and room for hugs and understanding conversation.

BIANCA CARRILLO (she/her)
Ms. Carrillo was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV where she later earned her BA in Elementary Education from Nevada State College. After graduation, she worked within CCSD for four years in a variety of positions, including lead kindergarten teacher. She is passionate about teaching because she believes children are our future, and that it is an honor to be a part of their journey in changing our world. It is her hope that children will leave her classroom knowing that they are unique, worthy, capable, talented, and amazing individuals who can and will make their dreams come true.
When Ms. Carrillo isn’t teaching, she is reading fantasy books and webcomics, playing cozy indie video games, or playing D&D with her friends. She aspires to travel around the world and explore/experience new places.
She hopes that her students leave the classroom knowing they are worthy and are capable of achieving anything they dream of. She works hard to achieve a cozy classroom environment where students not only feel safe but also celebrated, a place where creativity blossoms, and an environment where students feel happy and loved.

Mrs. Bayley was born and raised in Texas, and has a strong background in early childhood education. She works hard to make sure each of her students receives an equitable education.

Fifth Grade

JANAE KING (she/her)
Ms. King was born and raised in Georgia. She went on to earn a Bachelors at Berry College in Rome, Georgia and a Masters degree at University of West Georgia, both in Elementary Education. After graduation, she worked as a 5th grade teacher for four years in Georgia before moving to Las Vegas where she taught 4th grade for two years. She is back in 5th grade this year and is also our incredible 5/6 POD leader.
Ms. King is passionate about teaching because she loves learning, whether it's learning about a topic she is interested in, or having the opportunity to achieve something she has struggled with. In the same vein, she loves watching her students learn and show prides in themselves for making achievements in areas of difficulty. She wants her students to know they can achieve anything if they put their mind to it.
Outside of school Ms. King loves to binge watch her favorite shows, hang out with friends, and read books. She is also a huge fan of musicals and traveling.
She hopes more than anything else, that her students grow this year. She hopes they learn something significant and that they feel prepared for middle school next year.

MACKENZIE MCELDUFF (she/her)
Ms. McElduff was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2018 with a degree in Secondary math education. She has spent four years teaching math at the middle school level, two of which were located in Las Vegas, NV.
Outside of school Ms. McElduff likes to listen to music, create art for fun, and go to the park with her husband and her dog. She’s hoping this school year brings a community of students who are curious learners and compassionate classmates. She wants her students to feel a sense of belonging in her classroom, as well as achievement in their goals.
