KATHY RUDD (she/her)
Co-Principal and BBA Founder
Coach Rudd was born in Illinois & holds her Masters in Education from Public School Building Leadership (Columbia University, 2018), Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Secondary English (UNLV, 2015) and her Bachelors of Arts in English (University of Missouri, 2012). She has also spent 11 years in education as a teacher, school admin, and teacher training leader.
Above all else, Coach Rudd believes education is equity in action - great teaching that puts our students at the center, allowing them to make decisions about what, when, and how they learn can transform not only their lives, but our community. She is passionate about education that empowers students to turn their gifts, talents, and passions into real impact to make Las Vegas a better place.
She has two brilliant and funny dogs - River and Draco - who she loves training. She also loves crafting and creating - primarily through sewing projects and cross stitch.
“I am incredibly proud of the school and our community of teachers, parents, and students - we are so lucky to build BBA together into the amazing school our community deserves.”

CONNIE REYES (she/her)
Community Relations and Student Recruitment Coordinator
Ms. Connie was born in San Diego, California. She wasn’t a huge fan of school until she attended college at The Art Institute of Las Vegas. Being challenged not only academically but creatively as well brought her so much joy.
As for outside of school, Ms. Connie wishes she could sleep for an uninterrupted 9 hours, but that doesn’t happen due to her 2 young kiddos that keep her active. On special days she truly loves being alone in her room watching her favorite shows. She loves plants, drinking coffee and going on scenic hikes with her family.
Although she is not a teacher, she plays a HUGE role at BBA by building solid relationships within our community and our students' families, amongst many other important jobs. She hopes more than anything to see our students succeed, feel confident, and are happy.
