At BBA we value consistent attendance for academic success. Students are allowed up to 14 unexcused absences annually; exceeding this limit may lead to student retention. We prioritize health and accept doctors' notes to excuse absences, ensuring a fair and supportive approach to attendance. Open communication is encouraged to address any concerns and support the overall success of our students.
Plan for emergency distance education
Battle Born Academy is a brick and mortar school and is not authorized to offer distance education. However, in the rare event that a public health or weather emergency necessitates school-wide distance education, BBA will implement a 1:1 technology program.
Battle Born Academy is currently in possession of approximately 275 working laptops and iPads for students. Additional costs to implement this program is estimated at $18,375 before taking into account administrative and personnel costs for distribution:
